I am currently a PhD Software Engineer in AI/ML at Google, where I work on applied ML problems. Previously, I was a Machine Learning Scientist at Microsoft, working on language modeling and related ML systems. Before that, I completed a PhD in mathematics at the University of Texas at Austin, focusing on stochastic control theory and its applications to machine learning. Going further back in time, I was a graduate of High School for Gifted Students and a Maths Olympian (IMO 2012).

I am especially interested in machine learning methods for sequential decision-making, learning under uncertainty, and structured learning.
